Assistant Public Defender Rebecca Wilson was presented with the 2013 Jim Slater Award for Professionalism in the Practice of Criminal Law. This is the only award given by the judges of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit.
Rebecca has worked in the Public Defender's Office since 1999 and specializes in representing juvenile offenders. Everyone in the local court system knows that Rebecca is an authority on the juvenile rules of procedure and understands the various rehabilitative programs that are able to assist these young people and their families. As Judge Peter Dubensky said when presenting the award; "Rebecca is an exceptionally worthy recipient of this honor."
Congratulations to Rebecca Wilson!
